  1. They said that the car park was so narrow, can't I get to the SamcheongGak by car?
  There is lack of space for parking because we didn't extend the room for parking to preserve natural environment. Instead, we, SamcheongGak, assured another parking lot outside to alleviate customers' inconvenience. When you use the Underground Sejongro car park of Sejong Center and the Seoul Plaza Hotel car park, it costs 1,000 won to park your car for upto 4 hours. However, bear in mind that there is no other benefit for the SamcheongGak customers in the car park of Sejong Center.

  2. You said that the SamcheongGak is closed every Monday, then can't I use any of the facilities of SamcheongGak on Mondays?
 

  3. It seemed to have various kinds of performance in SamcheongGak, how do you assign the seats?
  Il-Hwa-Dang performing area is a sort of transformable stage which can hold the various kinds of traditional performance. The shape of this stage can be transformed differently as the shapes of prosenium(Procenium shape)-most commonly- Arena shape which is the stage form for Madangnori, open stage shape for fashion show etc.. When the traditional play is performed using procenium stage, the performing area can be changed to hold 206 seats in total. As the number of seats and their assignment are varied according to the form and characteristic of the performance, those who would like to reserve seats in a group had better make a phone call to our information desk (telephone No. is 02-3676-3456) to inquire of it in advance.

  5. How can I get the ticket of traditional performance?
  In 1996, Sejong Center for the Performing Arts is using the system of the Ticket Link corp. to sell tickets on line. Therefore, the entrance ticket of SamcheongGak performance can be purchased easily by means of Internet, telephone and the advance sale booth as well. In case of advance purchase on the phone, you can use telephone numbers 1588-7890 without area code, SamcheongGak information center 02-3676-3456 or Sejong Center for the Performing Arts Infoshop 02-399-1512~4. Refer to the page of SamcheongGak Helper about the advance purchase booth in the city and advance purchase through the Internet.

  5. How can I get a refund for the ticket of traditional performance?
  You can get a refund 90 % of entrance ticket fee when you make a phone call to the Infoshop of Sejong Center for the Performing Arts, or the information desk of SamcheongGak by 5 PM in the previous day of the actual performing day. Also you can get a full refund if you visit SamcheongGak, Sejong Center for the Performing Arts, or other purchase booths. Please pay attention to that we don't pay back on the very performing day.

  6. How can I take a scheduled course in the traditional culture classes?
  You can learn different programs such as tea manners, women's crafts, forksongs, Kayakeum, Daekeum, Pansori, and National Classical Music for children in the SamcheongGak where you can learn and experience the prime traditional culture in Korea. This course is run once a week for 4 months in session. For more details, you can call the SamcheongGak information desk (telephone no.:02-3676-3456. Internet).

  7. How can I take a course of Tradition Experiences in the traditional culture classes?
  It's a course for tourists and general public to experience traditional culture for short period. Women's crafts, tea manners, National Classical Music courses are run for 2 hours in the afternoon on weekends and the fee is 25,000 won. You should book for that in advance before two days (telephone no.: 02-3676-3456, Internet), and then you can get a reply to your contact number.

  8. Is there any program for me to have the benefit of meals and performances at the same time?
  We SamcheongGak, which is a complex traditional culture area, provide various packages of meals and drinks & performances for the convenience of our customers. With each package, you can enjoy different traditional performances and good quality of traditional Korean meals provided by the 'Asadal', the Korean restaurant, and taxes are included in the cost. From 8th of December, we will sell another package product which you can enjoy both traditional play and eating and drinking area.

  9. Can I reserve for 'Asadal' in a group?
  'Asadal', which is located on the ground floor in the Il-Hwa-Dang, has special rooms which can hold from 6 upto 20 people for the group customers' sake. The special rooms of 'Asadal' consist of 4 rooms in total and there are the rooms for 6/12/20 members of each and 2 rooms for 8 members.

  10. Do they sell liquors in Chongdawon?
  Chongdawon is a place you can enjoy different kinds of drinks of traditional teas. They don't sell liquors at all and for those who want liquors, they can get them in 'Asadal', the Korean restaurant.

  11. To where can I book for a guest's house?
  All bookings for the Korean restaurant, 'Asadal' and a guest's house are available through the telephone no. dedicated to reservation. The number is 3676-2345.
